DWI

You are coming from a party, local bar or restaurant.  During the evening, you had some beers, a few cocktails or a couple glasses of wine. The blue lights go on.  You are being pulled over by the police.  Within an hour, you have been asked to complete field sobriety tests on the side of the road, been arrested for driving while intoxicated and have been asked to provide a breathe test.  Your life has been turned upside down.  You need an attorney who will work for you during this demanding time.  After a person is arrested for DWI, things happen quickly.  It is likely that the officer took your license and gave you a temporary license which is only good for 30 days.  If you agreed to give a breathe test, the officer gave you samples so that you could have the results tested by your own laboratory.  You were bailed and given a court date.  Now is the time to speak with an attorney.

During my years of practicing criminal defense I have represented dozens and dozens of people charged with DWI throughout the state.  I recognize that being charged with DWI can have devastating effects.  It may result in the loss of one’s job.  It can mean that my client can’t see his or her children as often.  Ultimately, it may result in a jail sentence.

Being charged with DWI is serious.  You need a serious, dedicated advocate.  Call me for a free consultation.
